Town of Science

Bremen and Bremerhaven have become “Town of Science 2005”. During this prestigeful contest the jury of the founder association for German Sciences had decided among 37 towns to award it to the sister towns at the Weser.

The concept of the “Town of Sciences” intends to make science comprehensible to children and teenagers, graduates, teachers, students, multipliers and deciding persons as well as the interested public by an attractive programme. To impart the “complicated” science and research in an entertaining way, science to touch.

Like also Albert Einstein said: “Most of the basic ideas of the science are simple and in general can be explained in a language being understandable to everybody”.
